‘Evie and the Evergreen Forest’ launched at Margaret River Library

Local author Tamara Jarowyj came to the Margaret River Library last week to launch her new book  Evie and the Evergreen Forest.  Children enjoyed a reading of the book, a craft activity and refreshments in the library as part of our school holiday program.

Inspired by the drought in South Australia, Evie and the Evergreen Forest will encourage children to work together and to be mindful of their precious environment. The book has been beautifully illustrated with watercolour paintings, and is a great story suitable for children of all ages.

The library holds two copies of this local children’s book which are available for loan, and you can also buy a copy from local book stores.

Pictured below is the author Tamara Jarowyj reading a passage from the book.
