Permaculture and sustainability talk by Miles Durand

blog picMiles Durand will talk about the role of the Permaculture Research Institute (PRI) in Australia and around the world. The PRI is located at Zaytuna Farm in the Northern Rivers Region of NSW where Miles is the plant nursery supervisor.

The permaculture community has expanded and models of permaculture design can now be found throughout the world. These designs can provide food, shelter and energy in a sustainable way. Miles has recently returned from Sri Lanka and spent time in Lesotho in Southern Africa as part of Australian Volunteers International, demonstrating permaculture techniques and designs.
