Regular children’s activities resume this week

School is back! which means that Baby Rhyme Time and Storytime resume this week.

Baby Rhyme Time at Margaret River Library: Every Monday during school term (except public) holidays at 2.00pm – Please note new time. Perfect for babies 0-2 years old and their caregivers with rhymes, songs, music and afternoon tea. Bookings are not required for this activity.

Storytime at Margaret River Library: Every Tuesday during school term at 10.30am. Aimed at children 2-5 years old and their caregivers. Storytime incorporates stories, rhymes, songs and craft. There is no need to book for storyime, just turn up.

Toddler Tales at Augusta Library: Held on the second Thursday of the month, the next session is on May 11th at 10.30am. Toddler Tales is especially designed for toddlers aged 18 to 36 months and involves stories, rhymes, songs, craft and morning tea at Augusta Library. Bookings are required, please call 9780 5602 if you are interested in coming along.

Baby Rhyme Time, Storytime and Toddler Tales sessions resume again this week for term one.

Baby Rhyme Time @ Margaret River Library: Mondays at 2.30pm (expect public holidays) 

Baby Rhyme Time is aimed at parents and caregivers for children under 2 years old and involves sharing rhymes, music, songs and board books. Refreshments are provided after the session and no bookings are required.

Storytime @ Margaret River Library: Tuesdays at 10.30am

Storytime is great for children aged 2 – 5 years old and their caregivers. This session includes stories, rhymes, songs, music and craft. For your convenience no bookings are required, just turn up.

Toddler Tales @ Augusta Library: On the second Thursday of the month at 10.30am

The next Toddler Tales session is Thursday 9th February and is aimed at toddlers aged 18 to 36 months old and their caregivers. The session includes stories, songs, rhymes, craft and a little morning tea. Bookings are preferred as places are limited. Phone 9780 5602 to book your child’s place for Toddler Tales at Augusta Library.

Now that school holidays are over, our regular children’s activities have returned at the usual time and place. We hope to see you at the library soon!

Baby Rhyme Time: Every Monday (except public and school holidays) at 2.30pm. Come to the Margaret River Library with your child under 2 years old to share rhymes, songs and music together with a small afternoon tea for adults after the session. There are no bookings required, just turn up.

Storytime: Every Tuesday (during school term), 10.15 for a 10.30 start at Margaret River Library. Please join us with your child aged 2-5 years old for stories, rhymes, songs, music and craft. There are no bookings required for Storytime either, we would love to see you anytime you can make it.

Toddler Tales: Every second Thursday of the Month at Augusta Library (during school term) is a special story time session for toddlers aged 18 to 36 months old. There are bookings required for this session, please phone 9780 5602 to reserve your child’s place as each session has a take home craft and a bag of library books you can borrow based on the session’s theme. The next Toddler Tales session is at Augusta library on the 11th February.

Please join us for stories, rhymes, songs and craft aimed at 2 -5 year old children at Margaret River Library. No bookings are required, just turn up and it is free.

Baby Rhyme Time resumes Monday 8th of June at 2.30pm with a fun session  full of rhymes, songs and afternoon tea.

There is also no need to book for this free activity.

Now that school has resumed, our regular weekly sessions of Baby Rhyme Time and Storytime have started again for the year.

Baby Rhyme Time sessions are on Mondays at 2.30pm at Margaret River Library and include rhymes, songs, music and afternoon tea for parents.

Storytime is held at Margaret River Library every Tuesday at 10.15 for a 10.30 start and involves stories, rhymes, songs, music and craft. Storytime is aimed at children aged 2-5 years old, however all are welcome.

Do you know how big a Giant Gippsland worm is? Have you ever seen an African Night Crawler? Come along to this workshop and discover these facts and more about wonderful worms! Vicki Power from Wonderful Worms Waste will give a presentation on worms and how they work in our gardens and then you can make your very own worm farm to keep. Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to do something fun, educational, different and FREE this school holidays. This workshop is best suited to children aged 4 -12 and places are limited so book now to secure your child’s place.

Baby Rhyme Time breaks on the 15th September then resumes weekly sessions Monday 27 October at 2.30pm at Margaret River Library. No bookings required, just turn up.

Storytime breaks on the 16th September, then resumes weekly sessions Tuesday 21st October at 10.15 for 10.30am start at Margaret River Library and there are no bookings required, just turn up.

The next Toddler Tales is held Thursday November 13, at 10.30am at Augusta library call 9780 5602 to book your child’s place. Please note there is no October session due to school holiday activities
