Introducing Chinese culture to the Margaret River community by sharing Chinese food, arts and history in a celebration of the Chinese New Year Tradition.  Fun for the whole family.

Bring a Chinese dish / per family to share

Chinese dumplings provided * Lantern activity for kids to create * Photo Booth, come dressed up if you like! * Chinese Spring Couplets to paint * Chinese Zodiac walls * Chinese instrumental music * Dragon dance and lots of good luck to share * Go home with a Chinese Lantern * All welcome to this FREE family friendly event

Chinese Year of the Pig Lantern making workshop

Date:  Tuesday 29th January  Time: 5 — 7 pm

Join us to make paper lanterns to use for decorations in the library on 5th February for Chinese New Year Celebrations. Fun for the whole family. Staff and volunteers will be on hand to demonstrate how to fold the paper lanterns. Leave them with us and see the library transformed for Chinese New Year. This activity is suitable for children aged 5+ and parents must stay.
