Visitors to the Margaret River Library have the opportunity to learn about how to save water around the home and take away a flyer that lists easy ways we can all help to conserve and sustain our water. ‘The Water Connection’ is a project of Transition Margaret River and supported by Nature Conservation Margaret River and the Shire. If you can’t make it in, some of the tips include: take shorter showers; install water efficient shower head; use dual flush toilet system; use a glass of water to brush your teeth instead of running the tap; fix leaking appliances; plant a water wise garden. The library also has a great range of books to guide you in learning about sustainable living.
