We have a new challenge for Lego Club over the school holidays: Send Rachael a photo of a scene from your favourite book, built with Lego!
Email your photos to rdrummond@amrshire.wa.gov.au and we will display them on our library website www.amrlibraries.com
Thank you to our first contributor Nic, who has made a scene with Kai and a dragon hunter, from his favourite book series; Ninjago.

Also well done to Hugh, who has made “a Stormtrooper (star wars) has defected from the Imperial Forces and has built himself a cottage complete with telescope and fireplace”.

Ella has created a fantastic scene inspired by her favourite series Wings of Fire by Tui Sutherland.

and then Ella created a fantastic scene from another favourite book; The Enchanted wood by Enid Blyton.

Arturo is also a Ninjago series fan and has created an action packed scene. Arturo says his first photo is ” the bad guy on motorbike and the second photo is the bad guy has been captured and locked in Kai’s vehicle”.

Amelia created a beautiful scene from the book The Giraffe and the Pelly and Me by Roald Dahl with Duplo. This book was chosen as a Click and Collect title from Augusta Library and is a new favourite read at Amelia’s house.

Thanks again Nic, Hugh, Ella, Arturo and Amelia.
We hope to see some more Lego scenes soon, as the library staff miss our Lego Club sessions!
