All this week we celebrate the quality children’s literature created by Australian authors and illustrators.

Check out the winners of the CBCA Book of the Year Awards at cbca.org.au, come and see our library CBCA book week displays and place a hold on any of the shortlisted titles to be next in line to borrow award winning children’s books.

Because of funding from State Government of WA, Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries, Lotterywest, Healthway  and Go 2&5 and Children’s Book Council of Australia WA Branch, the Shire Libraries are hosting book illustrator Rebecca Cool and author/illustrator Gabriel Evans to celebrate CBCA Book Week 2022.

Students from Margaret River Primary, Margaret River Montessori Primary, St Thomas More Catholic Primary School, Augusta Primary school and local Home school students will have the opportunity to meet two of our states fabulous children’s book creators, thanks to our funding partners.
