Get ready, book explorers! From March to 8 May 2026, the Golden Feather Hunt is swooping back into libraries across WA, and it’s going to be bigger, better and more feather-tastic than ever!
What is the Golden Feather Hunt?
It is a magical treasure hunt where YOU get to be the hero! All you have to do is visit your local library, check out a book, and start flipping through the pages. Hidden inside, you might just find a special feather-shaped bookmark. But these aren’t just any feathers. They are your ticket to amazing prizes!
What Feathers Will You Discover?
Plain Feather: Decorate it, post a photo tagging @scribblersfest, and enter the weekly draw to win a book!
Emerald Feather: Find one in your library and win an instant book prize!
Silver Feather: Only 20 libraries have these! Win a signed book.
Golden Feather: The rarest of all! Win a Scribblers book pack and an e-reader.
The competition is for Western Australian children and young people aged up to 18 years.
Entries close 8 May 2026
