Toddler Tales is aimed at children 18 to 36 months old and involves a story, rhymes, songs, craft and morning tea.

At our monthly Book Chat Club meetings we talk about the books we have read and give reviews and recommendations to other club members.

It is Children’s Book Week and all around the country we are celebrating quality Australian literature for children.
Children’s Book Week was established in 1945 by the Children’s Book Council of Australia (CBCA) and each year the Children’s Book of the Year awards are announced.
We hope to see you at the library soon to celebrate!

Every year since 1946, Australia has celebrated Children’s Book Week with the aim of promoting quality literature for young people.
The Children’s Book Council of Australia (SA branch) have put together a video of the shortlisted Book of the Year titles, all of which are available to reserve on our library catalogue.

All school holiday activities are FREE at the Shire Libraries, however bookings are essential and children must be accompanied by an adult for each session.
