Join Rebecca Hannan as she talks candidly about a time in her life when she wasn’t taking care of herself. Everyone around Rebecca saw a successful professional woman doing it all, but the things in life that were most important to her were being dismissed. It cost her dearly in many areas of her life, she knew something had to change. So she created a challenge to pull herself out of her funk and into her flow. Rebecca has shared this challenge with many of her clients and now it’s time to share it with the world.

Who, What & Why? The Plotting Triangle writing workshop. Saturday 25th May, 9:30am – 12:30pm.
There are still a few places left for this writing workshop so get in touch with the library soon.
Summary: This hands-on interactive workshop will equip participants with the tools for plotting for fiction writing. It is suitable for people at any stage of a writing project.

Come to Augusta Library for a storytime session aimed at Toddlers. We will enjoy a story, songs, rhymes, craft and a morning tea but bookings are essential. Call 9780 5602 to book your toddlers palce.

Kanopy is a streaming service that offers library patrons free access to a wide variety of movies and documentaries.
Kanopy recently notified us of a security issue on the platform, after it became apparent that some user information was not properly secured on the Kanopy platform.
Kanopy has confirmed that no Western Australian users were affected by this issue.
Kanopy has also assured WA libraries that the security issue has been fixed, and that they are continuing investigations to ensure this does not happen again.

What is creativity and where does it come from? Can anyone be creative? Josh will talk about his unconventional views on the subject and how he turned his life around by throwing out the rule book. Light refreshments provided after the talk and Josh’s books will be available to purchase.
