Writers at any career stage who struggle with establishing and maintaining a regular writing practice will benefit from this free 3 hour workshop hosted by Annabel Smith The workshop delves into the thoughts and feelings that hold us back from achieving our potential as writers such as self-doubt, fear of rejection and criticism, procrastination, perfectionism, lack of resilience/staying power.
• Understand the beliefs that hold you back from achieving your potential as a writer
• Become familiar with strategies and frameworks for overcoming self-limiting behaviours around writing
• Practice with tools that will empower you to continue to build confidence and proactivity on an ongoing basis
The whole family can come along to make some lanterns to be used to decorate the library for the Chinese New Year celebration being held on Tuesday 5th February. Bring in your Teddy bears for a special Teddy Bears picnic storytime, then the teddies can have a sleepover and we will take photos of their adventures overnight in the library. Storytime is aimed at children under 6 years old however any child can bring in their teddy for the sleepover. Teddy bear pick ups anytime after 12 noon on Wednesday22nd January
