Visions: an exhibition by Caitlyn Sully

In this exhibition, Cait presents art that attempts to capture visions that come into her mind. They often represent something quite meaningful – an experience, realisation or a special place. Some are a more philosophical look at life, and an attempt to try and visualise her understanding of the complex world we live in.

Most of her art is made with oil and acrylic paints. She has always been drawn to things that are colourful which translates into her painting style. She feels that contrast, line work and repeating organic patterns are what she leans towards, rather than something that is precise. She tries to keep rules, but each painting has been created in a different way from the previous effort.
