The “Inner Peace Day” project is a non-profit organisation, established to help school children around the world improve their emotional wellbeing, concentration level and self-esteem. Through play, music, the visual arts and meditation, Inner Peace Day volunteers enable and encourage young people to develop more positive and harmonious relationships with themselves and with those around them.
2:30pm – 3pm, Saturday 7th July at Margaret River Library
The plan for the half hour session: Volunteers introducing themselves to the families, followed by an Inner Peace Day presentation; Games to encourage group co-operation; A puppet show; A simple meditation exercise that affirms the desire to feel peace, peace within the self, and throughout the world. For the young children we use lots of songs to appeal to their learning and enjoyment of the experience.
The library is an easily accessible venue. All welcome.
