Chinese New Year Celebrations at the Library

Save the date for Wednesday 29th January, 3 – 6pm in the garden outside the library to celebrate the Year of the Rat

Bring: a Chinese inspired dish to share and a picnic rug to spread out. BYO water bottle and reusable plate if you have one

Provided: Paper craft activities to create including paper fans, decorate a lantern, rat mask to make and paper cut-outs, Chinese Spring Couplets to paint

Photo Booth (in the library), come dressed up for your family pic!

Fortune cookie and lots of good luck to share

Learn: your Chinese Zodiac sign and New Year traditions

3pm Paper craft activities start

5pm Dinner is served

5:30pm Winners of the Rat Mask competition announced

5:45pm Dragon dance finale

All welcome to this FREE, inclusive, family friendly event
