Get crafty: take away craft packs
Visit either Margaret River or Augusta Library for a FREE craft activity pack to take home. At the beginning of each week a new pack will be available, check out our website amrlibraries.com to find out which pack is ready for collection.
Packs include:
● Greeting cards ● 2021 Calendars ● Masks ● Kites ● Cups ● Badges
Craft packs include inspiration for your creation but you will need to provide scissors, glue and pens at home.
Summer Reading Rabbits
If you are in year one at school, the summer holidays is the perfect time to visit the library, choose some books and get some Reading Rabbit stamps on your card.
Over the summer holidays, bonus prizes will be given for a book review, based on a book you have read recently.
Summer Book Bandicoots
For all those in year two and over at school, Book Bandicoots rewards kids for reading, especially over the summer holidays!
As a summer holiday treat we are giving away bonus prizes for extra book reviews completed, just see library staff for more details.

Book Chat Club
Held on the last Monday of each month, Book Chat Club is a place for ten to fourteen year olds to chat about their favourite books and reading. Bring a book for the book swap, take on the next monthly reading challenge and go in the draw to win a prize.

All school holiday activities are FREE at the Shire Libraries, however bookings are essential and children must be accompanied by an adult for each session.
Regular Baby Rhyme Time, Storytime and Toddler Tales sessions take a break over school holidays. Sessions resume during school term, commencing Monday 1st February 2021.
