Tribute Tree offers new workshop at The Hive

The Tribute Tree will be running a free Marine workshop on 31 July from 1pm to 3:30pm at the Hive, 3/24 Auger Way West.

“Reefs and rockpools” is again both an educational and creative opportunity for kids between ages 5 and over to explore their imaginings around the ocean and its various habitats.

Ngari Capes Marine ranger Eden Baxter will be talking about the creatures that inhabit these environments and show kids a collection of sea creatures that have been washed ashore.

After the workshop, kids will be able to create their own rockpools and reef life using patterned art paper, coloured fabrics, marine natural and waste products, and adding their own drawings or writings into the pastiched panels.

Places are limited and bookings are essential. Please note: there is room for one adult/carer per family.
