Margaret River Library is hosting three information sessions presented by Leisa Prangnell. The first talk coincides with Dementia Awareness Week (16-22 September).
Leisa is a passionate aged care advocate, nurse, and educator. Her series of talks starts with learning about dementia, what it is, living with it and the resources available. The talks are aimed at the whole community. This event is free with light refreshments available.
19th September, 2 – 3pm: Dementia Awareness
10th October, 2 – 3pm: Advance Care Planning, Advance Health Directives and Palliative Care
17th October, 2 – 3pm: Stay on your feet. Program overview of resources and materials available, including simple exercise cards
