The Margaret River Library will be closed from 23 February to 16 March for essential roof replacement works. Borrow extra books, get your printing done early, and learn how to access eResources while we’re temporarily closed.
Why we’re closing
To keep our libraries welcoming, accessible and well‑maintained, we’ll be closing the Library to complete essential works. This short, planned closure helps us deliver a better experience for everyone.
What services will be unavailable
During the closure, the following in‑person services will be paused:
- Borrowing and returns at the desk
- Public PCs, Wi‑Fi printing and scanning
- Study spaces
- Programs, events and activities
Returns chute: The return chute will be closed during the closure.
- Keep your books at home until we re-open.
How to prepare (now is the time!)
To make things easy, we recommend:
- Borrow extra items now (books, magazines, DVDs – as many as you like!)
- Finish your printing/scanning early
- Ask staff for help setting up access to eBooks, audiobooks, digital magazines and comics
- Check and renew due dates in your account
