Still Life by Sarah Winman, is a book that spans four decades, and in its majority is set in Florence. The book explores the importance of art, strangers that become family, and the love that holds them together.Â
In her review of the book, author Lauren Fox said historical fiction hits closest to the bone when it illuminates what we know to be true. Named by many reviewers as beautiful prose that becomes poetry the book is already popular among readers on our shores.Â
You can reserve the paperback copy on our catalogue with your library card here. Or, read it now on CloudLibrary Â
