We recently posted information about the changes made by SLWA to the delivery service for Inter-library loans. Unfortunately, we have had to switch off our automated ILLs process as the postage cost has increased significantly.

We now have a different way for you to let us know which items you would like, if they are not available in our collection.

How to request an item not held within our collection…

Search Discovery to find the item. If it is not held within our collection, it will display as

• At State Library of Western Australia, or
• At other libraries worldwide

To request the item, click on the Share button:

A webform will open. Enter the following details:

Your email:       Type in your email address

Recipient:        MR members type –  illsmar@amrshire.wa.gov.au  /  Augusta members type –  auglib@amrshire.wa.gov.au

Message:         Type your name and library card number here

Subject:            No subject is needed; you can leave this blank.

Once you have entered the details, click Send Email…

We cannot provide a time-frame or a guarantee that it will be available to us, but we will do our best to supply the item 😊
