Hot tips on how to set up a ServiceWA account

We are working very hard to help as many people as we can, as quickly as we can. In the meantime here are some useful links that might help you.

Important things to note:

  • You can only have one person per app
  • Two people cannot share the same phone number in two different accounts.
  • Each individual Must have their own email address to create a MyGov account
  • If you can’t link your vaccination history try to turn it off and on.
  • Make sure your details on Medicare are up to date before starting the process of creating/linking services on MyGov

Next steps:

  • Make sure you are logged in to MyGovID before setting up ServiceWA
  • When ServiceWA gives you the 4 digit code:
    • you need to get out of ServiceWA
    • go to MyGovID to enter the code.
    • Then re-open the ServiceWA app and give a few seconds for both apps to communicate. (it won’t prompt you to do this)

Watch this easy video https://www.wa.gov.au/government/multi-step-guides/servicewa-app-support/how-set-the-servicewa-app

If you are still having trouble, go to  https://www.wa.gov.au/organisation/government-of-western-australia/servicewa-app-technical-support

Please share this information with family and friends.
